Clinic Policies

  • All appointments are made in advance.

  • Please provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling in order to avoid a late-cancellation fee.

  • This late cancellation fee is $100, and it is not covered by insurance.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be rescheduled in order to honor everyone’s time that is accounted for that day.

I understand that early parenting and pregnancy can be unpredictable. Please communicate with me as early as possible if something comes up.

  • Secure messages via Sessions Health are for non-urgent concerns.

  • Messages will be returned within 2-3 business days.

  • Please allow 2-3 business days for routine refills.

  • Refills are only honored if you have been seen within the past three months.

  • Medication changes are not made in between appointments. A comprehensive in-real-time discussion is required prior to any medication change.

  • I am unable to provide crisis care.

  • If you are in danger or need immediate help, please call 911 or go to the nearest ER.

We may collect information, such as name, phone number, and email address.

We may use the information we collect to perform the services requested including billing, customer service, appointment reminders and other administrative requests.

Sharing of information collected:
We may share information we collect with payment processors, legal authorities, partners so that these service providers can perform their normal duties. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any information provided with third parties for promotional purposes.

As a current or prospective customer, you understand that you can text us STOP at any time to opt out of receiving SMS text messages from us. You can text us HELP at any time to receive help. You understand that the messaging frequency may vary. Messaging & data rates may apply. Your mobile information will not be shared with any third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All policies are followed as per CTIA guidelines 5.2.1. At any time if you want your information to be removed, you can contact us via our email address or regular mail.

  • Your information is protected under HIPAA.

  • Your privacy is respected, including around parenting status, fertility, loss or gender identity.

  • With your consent, I’m able to coordinate care with your OB, midwife, therapist or doula and can provide documentation for medication use during pregnancy and postpartum if requested by those providers.

  • Telehealth is available to those who are located in Hawai’i during their appointment and after an initial in-person appointment is completed.

  • Babies are always welcome, but please ensure that you are in a quiet and private location where you can discuss protected health information.

  • If appointments are frequently interrupted, I may suggest rescheduling to a more stable time so that we can have effective discussions together.

  • If you have not been seen in three months, my policy is to discharge you from the clinic. I will send you a formal letter documenting this. Should you wish to re-establish care, we will go through a similar intake process as the first one.

  • If care is no longer clinically appropriate (eg, repeated no-shows, non-payment), I may provide referrals to a new provider.

  • You may request transfer of care at any time.
